134

I was very surprised to step on the scale this morning. Although the bedtime exercise was quite exhausting-I'm guessing it burned many calories. ;)

Breakfast: Fiber One Raisin Bran w/ Skim Milk
Lunch: Progresso Lite Veggie Soup w/corn
Dinner: Taco *fricken* salad and chips and salsa from On The Border

I swear, I should have a babysitter with me when I choose to eat. Oh, the good ole days. Eating a whole pizza and still staying a size 0.

*Hey reader(s): Please give me suggestions on food!!--ETA-Thanks V for the suggestions!! C doesn't like fish, so that's out (sadly). The calorie count on the organic chips are still so high. :( I guess I'll just have to give up my chips and salsa addiction. If I can cook chicken with the salsa that would be yummy. And I love raw veggies, so that's good.

Grilled Chicken or Fish. I don't eat Fish but i've had salsa on chicken before. SO good. It was homemade though so not sure if that makes a difference. I've never checked either but what about in the organic section of the super market they sell the organic tortilla chips or even the veggie chips. Not sure what the calorie count is but you should check. Whats really bad about the tortilla chips is the corn and starch. I watched something on the news once about why americans could be so overweight and it had to do w/the fact that we as americans eat so much processed corn. It's in everything and it's really bad for you. I mean i'm sure in moderation it's not but we eat tons of it!!! But for lunch try sandwiches w/wheat toast and deli meat but mustard instead of mayo. And cut up raw veggies instead of chips. I am such a crunchy food person and if I allowed myself to I could eat endless bags of chips so I switched to veggies. Cucs, celery, green peps. If you dip them though just keep track of how much dip you use. Those calories can add up!!! Or fruit. Try to get a low sodium deli meat too. I always ask what they have because sometimes they don't always carry the same one everytime. But frozen dinners are a lifesaver too. I love SmartOnes brand. They are all yummy. My favorite is the SanteFe Rice and Beans. But the Lasagnas are yummy too. And if the rest of the fam isn't anything too healthy for dinner I just pop 1 in the microwave and put it on a plate and have a small salad w/it. We don't always have to eat the same thing. But the most imp thing is never let yourself get hungry bc that's when you give in and indulge. And keep lots of healthy snacks around even in the car. It's so easy to be out and hungry and go grab something unhealthy. I keep fiber bars from Target in the car and in my purse. The peanut butter ones are yummy. Although it is fiber so you might need some beano too!!!
